PARTY RECORDS 1207: In the second part of this show, Dr. Demento tells the fascinating story of "party records" - risque and titillating tunes and tales that were released by mostly independent labels from the 1930s to the 1960s (major labels wouldn't touch them). Most of these were never heard on radio when first released.
Parental note: most of these are totally concerned with sex and other bodily processes, but the f-word is heard only on the bonus track, which also has the n-word. Feb 18, 2012
